First Beer Sold at Jester King

Today we sold our very first beer ever at our brewery. Thanks to the recent change in Texas law, we’re now allowed to sell beer at Jester King. For the time being, we’re only allowed to sell beer for people to drink on-site. Later this summer, we plan to change our license so we can also sell bottles of our beer to go.

We really appreciate everyone who came out to Jester King to drink our beer and tour our brewery. We hope you had a great time, and we appreciate you braving the 100 degree temperatures. We had a few hiccups serving beer for the first time. Our point of sale system was a little glitchy. The dishwasher shorted out at one point. The lines got longer than we like for them to be. But we hope you enjoyed the menu of beer we were able to offer, which we’re very proud of and is a product of years of experimentation, patience and fine tuning. Seeing guests spend their free time and hard earned money at our brewery is something we don’t take lightly. We are extremely appreciative, flattered and humbled. Thank you.
