The Jester King First Anniversary Party & Market is SOLD OUT. Only advance ticket purchasers will be allowed entry on Saturday to Ceres Park Ranch, the home of Jester King Craft Brewery. In other words, please don’t show up at Jester King tomorrow if you haven’t pre-purchased a ticket(s).

We’d love to be more accommodating to a larger crowd, but we’ve limited the event size this year for a few reasons. We want the event to feel relaxed and family friendly. Also, we don’t have safe parking spaces for more than about 700 guests. We ran afoul of TABC and Hays County last year with the traffic congestion that was caused by our crowd on US-290 and Fitzhugh Road. We don’t want to create an unsafe situation this year nor get in trouble with the law, so again, please don’t come to Jester King tomorrow unless you have a ticket(s).

We’re open for tours and tastings every Saturday from 1 to 4pm if you don’t have a ticket for tomorrow.

200 Extra Tickets Released

As of this morning 500 tickets to our First Anniversary Party & Market have been sold. Given that we will have 13 local, artisan merchants, 4 bands and over 20 beers at the event, we’ve decided to release an additional 200 tickets. We want to give more people the chance to enjoy what should be a very fun and unique event.

It is still our intent to have our First Anniversary Party & Market be a comfortable, laid back gathering. We want to avoid the crush of people we had last year where things became overwhelming. With 700 tickets available, the event will be about 1/6th the size of last year. We’ll have three different bars serving free samples of beer (one bar with only casks!) and a large number of volunteer bar tenders to combat beer lines. If the weather looks bad, we’re going to put up an event tent right next door to our old barn/beer hall, so that there’s shelter from the elements for all.

We hope you join us for a fun, memorable event in the Texas Hill Country that’s planned around celebrating artisan beer and local business.

We’ve put together a very special beer list for the event that we feel is truly one of a kind. The beer list is a reflection of our philosophy, which is to serve unfiltered, unpasteurized, naturally conditioned beer that embraces nature and the world beyond cultured brewers yeast.

Tickets to our 1st Anniversary Party & Market are $20 and will only be available through online, pre-sale. The price of the ticket includes entrance to and use of the brewery grounds, parking, a spot on any or all of the tours and a souvenir glass. The souvenir glass can then be used for free samples of the beer. Sample sizes will be reduced from our normal tastings so that guests can sample all of the nearly 20 different artisan beers we’ll have available.

In order to keep the event comfortable and relaxing, we’re limiting attendance to 500 persons. We’re located at beautiful Ceres Park Ranch in the Texas Hill Country, and we want our guests to enjoy the gorgeous, rustic surroundings in a mellow, laid back environment.

A few notes:

Seating is limited, so please feel free to bring chairs.

Children are admitted free, but must be supervised at all times.
