Nighttime Construction
June 3, 2010We’ve started working at night to install the roof on the brewery because the metal panels have been getting too hot to touch during the day. We start around 8pm when the sun is going down and finish up around 6am. We’ll be glad when this part is over. Although Saturday night we could hear the live, outdoor music from the Nutty Brown Cafe about two and a half miles away, which was cool.
My job has basically been getting the panels and other materials up to Michael on top of the roof because I’m too scared to put on the climbing gear and walk around on the fairly steep, slick surface. Here are a few pictures and videos:
