Southern Star Brewing Co. Visit

Michael and I had the great pleasure of recently visiting Southern Star Brewing Co. in Conroe, Texas. Southern Star is enjoying great success having opened for business in 2008 with a great lineup of craft beer. I’m personally thrilled that Buried Hatchet Stout will soon be in cans in Austin! (link)

Owner Dave Fougeron could not have been more friendly and accommodating to us. He and his company definitely embody the spirit and camaraderie of the craft beer movement. We hope to one day repay the support and help by passing on our experiences to new Texas breweries.
