Update on the National Cornhole Challange ALS Fundraiser

June 6, 2011

From the organizers of the Young Faces of ALS — National Cornhole Challenge:

You spoke and we listened — Entry fees have been reduced!

Please join us on Saturday June 18th as we raise awareness and funds for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). The Young Faces of ALS campaign has organized an amazing event complete with Austin food trucks, hours of live blue grass music, amazing raffle prizes and a cornhole tournament (bean bag toss).

Please register at www.yfals.com by clicking on the Austin link on the botton right hand side of the page. If you register online prior to the event (as a spectator or to play in the tourney) you will automatically be entered in a drawing to win a free tandem sky dive with Sky Dive San Marcos. How awesome is that!?!?

Entry to the cornhole tournament: $40 per person*
Entry as a spectator: $20 per person*
Kids 12 & under: Free

All entry fees include a Jester King pint glass (perfect for that free tasting beer) and tour of the brewery (a $10 value), a raffle ticket (a $5 value), and an event t-shirt for those in the tournament (only the first 100 teams get a t-shirt so register now!). The majority of your entry fee goes directly to ALS Therapy Development Institue and is a tax deductible donation.

If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate, please go to www.yfals.com, click on the Austin link on the bottom right hand side of the page, and you’ll see the ‘donation’ section at the bottom of the registration page.

Gates open at 11AM and the tournament starts at noon. The winning team walks away with ACL weekend passes and an awesome cornhole trophy!

We hope to see you at the brewery for what is sure to be a successful afternoon of games, music and fun. Let’s give hope to those affected by ALS!
